Would you like a lovely roommate (in the form of our dog Docents) for 4 weeks around the New Year? He's super-sweet and everyone who's ever taken care of him misses him dearly :) Docents is 7 years old, mixed breed, 18kg (mid-size, "fits" into an apartment with no issues). He's vaccinated, gets along with other dogs, and has been to dog school. He can be anxious, especially when separated from us. In our experience, this largely depends on his relationship with the host and where they live. Usually, it's not an issue at all, but it can be sometimes. Before you commit to hosting him for the entire 4 weeks, we'd leave him with you for a weekend to see if the experience is not too much for him. The other thing you should keep in mind is that he leaves a lot of hair behind him. It's not an issue for most dog-lovers (we're used to it), but I did want to point this out in advance. I wanted to be open about the negatives to avoid leaving him with someone who doesn't love taking care of Docents :) He truly is a great dog and if you have a lot of experience with dogs, you will love him too :) We will drive Docents to you where ever you live and, of course, provide food and anything else that is necessary. Would you like to care of Docents for us? :)
